Trauma informed Approach
Trauma informed Approach is being sought by many people. There are skilled professionals who can help you resolve your issue -which allows you to move to live your life fully and leave your issue behind.
Trauma informed therapy should not re-traumatise you.
A trauma-informed approach is a way of providing care and support to individuals who have experienced trauma, while also recognizing the impact of trauma on their lives. The approach aims to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals to heal and recover from their trauma.
A trauma-informed approach involves several key principles, including:
- Safety: physically and emotionally safe.
- Trustworthiness: by being transparent and consistent in all interactions.
- Choice: Empowering individuals to move on from their experience and start living a full life again.
- Collaboration: create a shared understanding of their needs and goals.
- Empowerment: providing the resources and skills needed to regain control over their lives.
- Cultural sensitivity: aware of the cultural background and experiences of individuals.
By adopting a trauma-informed approach, service providers and professionals can help individuals feel supported, heard, and understood, which can lead to better outcomes and long-term healing.
Using traditional therapies such as:
- cognitive-behavioral therapy
- eye movement desensitization
- mindfulness
There is a new way to treat trauma which does not re-traumatise and works quickly.
Yildiz Sethi’s Master Counselling, B.Ed. is to try to resolve the issue rather than build techniques in managing the issue and coping strategies – deep held issues can be resolved in 3 to 5 sessions.
